Full Day - Enniskillen and Devenish Island Cruise
Relax on a boat cruise across Lower Lough Erne, where history and tranquility meet. As you glide along the waterways, look out for waterside wildlife and enjoy watching the skilled crew navigate the Portora lock gates.
On arrival at Devenish Island Monastic Site, step ashore to explore this remarkable island dating back to the 6th century, home to the best-preserved round tower in Ireland, ancient church ruins, a high cross and atmospheric graveyards, with a small museum adding further insight. Back on board, enjoy a fully licensed bar serving beers, wines, tea and coffee, along with light snacks. With onboard toilet facilities and a relaxed pace, this excursion perfectly blends heritage, scenery and comfort.

Discover the story of this historic city on a guided walking tour, where knowledgeable local guides bring Armagh’s past to life. Stroll through charming streets and Georgian quarters while learning about its strong association with St Patrick and its enduring religious significance. Highlights include views of the city’s twin cathedrals and key landmarks that reflect centuries of heritage. You’ll have plenty of free time after the tour to explore and absorb the atmosphere of this historic city.
Within easy walking distance of the city’s historical attractions, shops, restaurants and bars, the Armagh City Hotel occupies a slightly elevated position, offering pleasant views over Armagh. The 92 bedrooms are bright and comfortable with neutral décor and modern furnishings. All are equipped with a TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. With its dark wood panelling, the elegant Friary Restaurant offers a relaxed atmosphere and makes use of the finest local produce in its dishes. The Coach - coaches are sterilised before leaving the depot, using the latest technology fogging machines. Coaches will be cleaned again between dropping off and picking up passengers.

Before boarding - the driver will be wearing a mask, please wear yours. Your temperature may be taken before boarding using a forehead thermometer.

On the coach - please use the hand sanitiser at the front of the coach. The toilet may not be in use during the journey. If this is the case, an extra comfort stop will be provided.

Seating - capacity on the coach may be reduced to allow for extra spacing/distancing.

At the hotel - your temperature may be taken again at the hotel and new check-in procedures may be in place. Please be patient, check in may take a little longer than usual.

Excursion tours - your driver will clean the coach after each excursion in preparation for the next day. Seat numbers may have to be altered at short notice to adhere to social distancing guidelines.
